As we celebrate the many ways in which the new health reform law will benefit America’s children, numerous news stories from outlets like the New York Times, The Washington Post, and National Public Radio, are reporting that insurance companies have found a way to skirt the requirement to offer coverage to children; they will simply stop providing child-only plans.

First Focus was outraged by this news and is calling on insurance companies to comply with the new law by continuing to offer policies for children. First Focus’ stance on this issue was highlighted in today’s edition of the Delaware News Journal.
