First Focus President Bruce Lesley to Testify Before House Energy & Commerce Committee

On June 24, 2008 First Focus President Bruce Lesley will testify before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Health to discuss the Health Equity and Accountability Act (H.R. 3014). The Act aims to reducing health disparities by improving access to health care, research, and education on the diseases and illnesses that are having a disproportionate impact on minorities.

The hearing will take place before the Subcommittee on Health of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, entitled “H.R. 3014, Health Equity and Accountability Act of 2007.”
